At 221B Studios our mission is to discover that uniqueness and work hand-in hand with you to write your company’s story into compelling video, digital, and branded experiences to push your business forward.

You’ve probably guessed by now that there’s a bit of a theme going on at 221B Studios, and if you guessed that theme is Sherlock Holmes, you’d be right. From our name (Sherlock’s address was 221B Baker Street), to our logo (again, Sherlock’s deerstalker cap), to our founder’s last name (that’s right, Holmes), we believe the famous detective’s unique approach to solving crime can be applied to marketing as well.

Matt Holmes founded 221B Studios after more than 20 years of working for in-house and external media agencies as well as sports broadcasting. He has a passion for storytelling that engages audience both emotionally and intellectually.
